Today we will visit a completely renovated apartment for sale through the Alvhem agency. The apartment has a total square footage of 43m2, with kitchen, living room, one bedroom and a bathroom and is located in a building built in 1903 in Linnéstaden, Gothenburg.
Although the apartment is not large in size, what makes it visually larger is the open floor plan and the genious solution of separating the living room and bedroom with a glass wall that is also aesthetically appealing.
The bedroom hides another very creative solution. Since the bedroom was quite narrow and there was not enough space for a closet during the renovation, whoever made the plan was very ingenious. On the left side of the bedroom we can see a closet made of very simple shelves attached to the wall and a curtain that serves as a door. Very practical and budget friendly, we would say!
For spaces that are smaller like this apartment, the color of the floors is crucial. So in this example we can see bright wooden floors that stretch throughout the entire square footage and thus visually increase the size of the apartment.
The apartment is furnished mostly in lighter pastel tones with black accents to avoid the “too girly “ visual impression of the space. Below you can see the mood board that we created inspired by this space.
1 – Candles, 2 – Pillow case, 3 – Pillow case, 4 – Wool rug, 5 – Chair, 6 – Poster, 7 – Candle holder, 8 – Glass vase, 9 – Flower pot
We hope you liked the visit and the mood board that we created for you guys!
Until next time,
Xoxo, Capsule Home Team
